Must Have Monday.
We can agree that the eyelash curler is an absolute essential to any makeup drawer. It's a face changing step that most of us do each and every morning.
Over the years, new curlers have hit the market and I for one have rushed to pick up the latest technology. Remember the heated curler? I couldn't have been more excited! Unfortunately for me, and I think most people, it just didn't deliver.
Then Shu Uemura released a curler and women went nuts. I too ran out to grab mine and I liked it, I really did. However the one challenge I had with it and all other manual curlers that I just suffered through all these years, was still there. My lids were too wide and no matter what, my lashes would get caught in the ends of the curler and if you've ever known the pain of pulling a lash hair out by accident...well, you know.
A few years ago I was browsing at Sephora and came across a curler, I picked it up because it was purple, my favourite colour. And then I read the box, it said 'Show Curl XL Lash Curler for Round Eyes'.
I didn't want to get too excited about it but the truth is after a couple of uses I knew it was a game changer for me. It's wider and the shape is perfect for a larger eye and wider lid space like mine. I have not had a pulled lash hair in years! It's been truly wonderful.
I'm not sure how long it's been on the market but I am so glad I discovered it and ladies if you didn't know, now you know! Pain free lash curling, hooray!
