Should You Microblade Or Shape Your Brows

There were a couple generations of young women who sat as teenagers in front of their mirrors, with their slanted tip tweezers plucking those precious hairs into thin, curved lines. Little did we know many years later as adults, it would come to be one of our greatest regrets. Brow hair is unpredictable. It grows back, then it doesn't, then suddenly it might again.

I am grateful to live in a time where a fuller, natural looking brow is what's in. And better yet, if you can't achieve it naturally, there are options!

With the right guidance from Brows by G to help me along, I've been able to achieve full brows that I love.

My first consultation with Giovanna was the start of an amazing relationship. She and her team spent months curating my brows to help me achieve the look that I wanted. I valued their advice on the shape, arch, and fullness that would suit my face best. It's made a difference in my daily confidence. Freshly groomed brows make me feel like I hardly need makeup!

I wanted to share this information with you because there is hope for all of us, who have brows that aren't quite where we want them to be. The team at Brows by G makes it easy to figure out whether they can work with what you have and start that regrowth, reshaping process or if you would benefit from their microblading services which Chrissy loved…

I had always been leery about discussing my eyebrows for fear of being called vain. My brows were short and didn’t grow past the middle of my brow bone.  It was three years ago, while in Los Angeles, that I received eyebrow extensions.  They were pricey and only lasted about 4 weeks, but I had over 100 comments of people asking about the procedure after posting a picture to Instagram; friends tagging friends, wanting to know more. Eyebrows were suddenley a thing and women were just as concerned about their brows as I had been about mine.  Little did I know that back in Winnipeg, a woman name Giovanna was about to change eyebrows in Canada.

By now you’ve all either met or heard of Brows by G. She has been helping people feel more confident and educating the country on the latest brow techniques for the past 5 years. A brow shaping visit for me turned into a conversation about microblading. I had trepidation at the thought of doing something that seemed so permanent.

I can’t imagine how many times a day Giovanna and her team answer the same questions; Is it going to hurt? Can I see what it’ll look like before we begin? Is it permanent? You’d never know, they treat every client with the same patience and professionalism. Giovanna explained the procedure would last 12 – 15 months and after that time if I wished; I could have it done again. It’s been 19 months since I first microbladed and something very surprising has happened! The treatment has encouraged hair growth!

I now see G and her team every 3 – 4 weeks for shaping, and every time I visit they carefully examine my brows. Results vary for everyone but for the immediate future, I no longer require microblading. May I please tell you how wonderful that feels, how great is to have one less thing to worry about in the morning.  Brows, done!
